Introducing Gig Friend: Every Song Mapped. Every Gig Nailed.
Gig Friend is here. Learn about the new all-in-one platform built to help performing musicians manage songs, build setlists, collaborate with bandmates, and perform with confidence.
We Built This for Musicians Who Gig
Today, we are officially launching Gig Friend — a platform purpose-built for performing musicians who need to learn songs, manage repertoire, collaborate with bandmates, and show up to every gig prepared.
The idea for Gig Friend came from a simple frustration. As gigging musicians ourselves, we were drowning in disconnected tools. Song notes in one app, setlists in another, chord charts scattered across Google Drive, and reference recordings buried in streaming playlists. Every rehearsal started with someone asking “which version are we doing?” and every gig involved a last-minute scramble to print setlists.
We knew there had to be a better way.
What Gig Friend Does
Song Library — Upload any song and it becomes your canvas. Mark sections on the waveform, add notes, attach chord charts, and store everything in one place. Key and BPM are detected automatically.
AI Stem Separation — Split any recording into vocals, drums, bass, and other instruments. Practice your part with the rest of the band, or mute your instrument and fill in the gap yourself.
Setlist Builder — Drag and drop songs into setlists for specific gigs. See keys, tempos, and energy levels at a glance to build sets that flow.
Band Collaboration — Create a band, invite your members, and share your entire song library. Everyone works from the same reference recordings, notes, and arrangements.
Gig Management — Track your upcoming gigs with venue details, set times, and assigned setlists. Show up to every performance knowing exactly what you are playing.
Stage Teleprompter — Lyrics scroll in real time during performance. No more music stands covered in crumpled paper.
Who Is Gig Friend For?
Gig Friend is built for musicians who perform live regularly:
- Cover bands managing a large and evolving repertoire
- Function and wedding bands who need to be tight on songs they may not play every week
- Solo performers juggling dozens of songs across different gigs
- Original bands organizing their catalog and preparing for shows
- Session musicians who need to learn new material quickly
If you perform live and need to stay organized, Gig Friend is for you.
Our Mission
We believe that the organizational side of being a gigging musician should not be harder than the musical side. Great performances start with great preparation, and great preparation starts with the right tools.
Gig Friend exists to make every musician more prepared, more organized, and more confident on stage.
